The law does not compel a man to do that which he cannot possibly perform.


Jennifer was educated at Lancaster Girls Grammar School and after that read English and French Laws with French at the University of Liverpool. Whilst at university she spent a year studying at the Universite de Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne. She graduated in 2005.

Having gained just short of two years’ experience working in the conveyancing department of two local law firms, Jennifer joined Joseph A. Jones & Co as a Trainee Solicitor in December 2007 working for two years with our Training Partner Gary.

She completed the post graduate Legal Practice Course at the University of Central Lancashire in June 2008 and was awarded a prize as “the most outstanding part time student”.

Jennifer qualified as a solicitor in January 2010 and Has since worked closely with Sue, specialising in property law, wills, probate and elderly client issues. Jennifer is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation with distinction.

Jennifer got married and became Mrs Sammons in August 2010. She lives locally with her husband and their two sons.

Having been promoted to being an Associate with the firm in March 2012, she became a Partner in March 2015.
